Research Interests

My research interests encompass the dynamic field of structural control, including passive, active, and semi-active methods. With a strong focus on advancing techniques to improve structural stability and performance, I explore innovative approaches to mitigate vibrations in various engineering contexts. I am particularly dedicated to studying vibrations in offshore structures, where unique environmental challenges necessitate specialized solutions. Through rigorous investigation and experimentation, I aim to develop strategies that not only minimize structural vibrations but also optimize offshore infrastructure for enhanced safety and longevity. My commitment to this field reflects a broader vision of contributing to the advancement of structural engineering and ensuring the resilience of critical infrastructure in marine environments. In summary, my research interests can be categorized as follows:

  • Structural Control (with Passive, Active and Semi-Active methods)
  • Structural Health Monitoring
  • Offshore Structures Vibrations
